The 2-hour Fundamentals Training Program is the foundation of the HEALTHY BACKS & BODIES™ (HB&B™) approach, focusing on the 'Five Fundamentals': C∙O∙R∙E™ Position, Functional Movement Patterns, C∙O∙R∙E™ Body Mechanics, HB&B™ Moments™ (Key Preventative Measures), and Movement Prep Warm-Ups.
This innovative and evidence-based training, developed by a leading sports-orthopedic physical therapist, combines highly experiential learning with fun and impactful methods. It emphasizes retraining and restoring our natural body positions and movements—like hip-hinging, squatting, and lunging— all of which reside underneath the performance of proper C∙O∙R∙E™ Body Mechanics and healthy ergonomic set-ups.
This program equips participants with the essentials of safe, healthy, efficient movement, injury prevention, and pain reduction, laying a solid foundation for a healthier, happier, energized, and more productive workforce.

Your HB&B™ program introduces two evidence-based warm-up routines designed for daily use: a 'Pre-Shift' routine lasting approximately 9 minutes and a shorter 'During-Shift' routine of about 3 minutes.
In line with the evidence in moving beyond traditional static stretching, these routines are engineered to prepare the body and nervous system for the specific movements, actions, and demands anticipated during the work shift. Movement Prep Routine exercises reinforce the muscle memory established through your HB&B™ Fundamentals Industrial Athlete Program and enhance movement patterns and adherence to instructed techniques, ensuring a ready and resilient workforce.

Refresh - Reinforce - Amplify
HB&B™ offers an ongoing series of concise, focused micro-sessions, each about 5 minutes long, targeting specific safe movements and actions.
These sessions aim to REFRESH the fundamentals and strengthen the HB&B™ Foundation, further REINFORCE correct muscle memory and proper, efficient, safe movement as the default action, and AMPLIFY this knowledge with additional practical actions, tips, tools, and exercises.
This comprehensive approach empowers each team member with the necessary tools for optimal safety in performance. With twelve sessions, a new one can be introduced each month, facilitating continuous improvement and safety reinforcement throughout the year.
